Frèdèrique
began studying American Tribal Style belly dance in February
of 1997 and after a long journey of experimentation and
self realization, she is now known for her voix de ville
(voice of the city) style and pushing musical boundaries
by arranging music to enhance her conceptual narrative,
creating a sound and sight stage reflecting the intricate
nuances of her movement and complementing her technical
skill combined with her depth of heart in performance.
Frèdèrique is also
involved in a collaborative project under the name Barbary
Coast Shakedown.
